Began its official partnership with

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2010

 

 We are the first and only Latino Greek organization to commit to the hospital’s efforts to bring awareness to childhood cancer, life-threatening diseases and St. Jude within the Latino community.

Why We Support St. Jude

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything,

because all a family should worry about is helping their child live

St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer

from less than 20% when it first opened its doors to 80% today

 

St. Jude and LTA won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

How We Support St. Jude

 In addition to individual chapter fundraisers throughout the year and periodically sending the children cards,

every year we participate in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer as a National Silver Team.

All around the nation, every year our sisters attend, raise funds and awareness​ to the cause

In 2018, Alpha Lambda was the top 5th LTA Team nationwide that raised the most funds

In 2024, Alpha Lambda placed 1st in most funds raised out of all 79 LTA teams nationwide
